If I look at all my cleansers that are not balms I find that they're usually between $27-$40+ with a few drug store options thrown in there that I like very much. I tend to use it at night rather than the day because it layers very very well and absorbs very nicely without rolling up on the skin.

I think it's particularly nice for a more dry skin or an irritated skin, I think it's a little too much if you're going through an oily period or have oily skin most of the time. There is also the Goat Milk Moisturizer which is also formulated for sensitive skin along with the other Goat Milk products. Fun fact I use anything cooling for the under eyes when I have a fever or a headache.

At the bottom we have Liz Earle Cleanse and Polish which is a thick cream.Īs for any other products that are in the Goat Milk line for Kate Somerville there is the Goat Milk De Puffing Eye Stick (I think that's the name) which is like a cooling balm for under the eyes it feels very nice. In the middle we have Kate Somerville Goat Milk Cleanser. So this will be a comparison but it will also be how much I would use to wash my face as well.Īt the top we have OSEA Cleansing Milk you can see it's a little thinner. I'm going to do something a little different in this and compare the formula visually to one that I feel is kinda similar to it and one that's much thicker which will be the Liz Earle one that I mentioned. The oils and the goat milk are great but I really feel like the Manuka Honey gives it the edge for the formula being as exceptional as it is. All of those things I love in my skincare. As you seen from the description it's goat milk but also Manuka Honey, avocado and jojoba oils. This is light weight, it's not super thick but it's not gonna be like the consistency of a water cream you know? It's not a whipped, fluffy feel, it's a proper cream. For instance I really love the Liz Earle Cleanse and Polish cleanser but it's a thick cream cleanser. The texture is creamy but it's light weight. The reason for that was a stability issue with the first formula it was separating in the tube. Now this was reformulated and re-released a month ago at most. I've been using it for 3-ish weeks I believe. This plays well with every product I've tried from the comforting and gentle routines where I just want to "feed the skin" and it works well with any products that can be more harsh on the skin like acid exfoliation and retinol products, etc. I think this is great to have on hand at all times just because it is so gentle and you never know when something might piss your skin off. It's all in what you like in your routines. If I'm not applying makeup and lets say it's #skincaresunday then I like it as my morning cleanse and go straight into my skincare products for the day and use it again that night. I prefer it as the second cleanse in a double cleanse and also as an AM cleanse but I notice I reach for it more at night and use a balm in the morning for a kick in hydration before applying makeup. In saying that though, I've also used it when I've slacked in my routine and I need to really get in there and CLEANSE or double cleanse actually, it's done amazing. I also notice that while my skin has been going through the stages of retinol products and flaking, sensitive, a bit uncomfortable some days, this has really done fantastic and doesn't make it feel tight or even worse, it doesn't bother me as I'm putting it on and then wiping it off so I feel like it's one of the most gentle cleanser I've ever tried. Just so you're aware though there is a touch of fragrance. It's also very friendly to sensitive skin, there is a hint of a smell. I find that most people who don't want the SLS or their skin doesn't do well with it have really enjoyed this one. If you never really got along with Kate Somerville cleansers because of the foaming aspect then try this one. Jojoba and Avocado Oils moisturize and condition" Manuka Honey nourishes skin without any tightness, dryness or irritation Goat Milk soothes dry, sensitive skin with natural milk proteins
